Siria. Senza sapere che cosa è successo e chi è stato, applicando il principio di colpevolezza senza prove e a dispetto del cui prodest, gli Use e le altre potenze rivendicano la necessità di un attacco diretto alla Siria parlando di “oscenità morale del regime siriano”. L’oscenità morale è questa guerra. Chiediamo a tutti in tutto il mondo di opporsi nelle strade.
Non si può permettere agli USA, Gran Bretagna e Francia di attaccare la Siria, scatenando un’ennesima guerra, senza prove che individuino in modo certo i reali autori e responsabili del lancio di gas la cui natura tra l’altro è ancora da definire come indicano i pareri di vari esperti internazionali sentiti da vari media.
Anche il generale Camporini, già capo di stato maggiore della difesa e vicepresidente dello IAI, ritiene che al regime sirianonon convenga affatto usare i gas attirandosi le prevedibili reazioni mondiali, oltretutto in un momento di netto vantaggio militare sul campo e proprio all’arrivo degli ispettori ONU. Il regime non potrebbe essere così autolesionista.
A chi conviene allora? Chiaramente creare un incidente intorno all’uso del gas letale conviene alle forze ribelli. Stanno perdendo sul terreno. Da mesi chiedono un intervento armato occidentale di appoggio, che non arriva per via del veto russo e cinese nel Consiglio di Sicurezza. Allora non è fantascienza immaginare che gli stessi ribelli abbiano potuto usare un gas letale contro alcune centinaia di civili in un quartiere di Damasco, dando la colpa al governo, per creare un pretesto che consentirebbe ad alcuni paesi occidentali di intervenire al di fuori dell’ONU.
Non è nemmeno fantascienza immaginare che gli stessi ribelli, per creare maggiore sgomento, abbiano poi potuto fabbricate e videoregistrare scene di intossicazione mai avvenute, per poter pretendere che, non alcune centinaia, ma ben 1,700 civili siano stati sterminati dal regime. (I video che mostrano tali scene sono state caricate su YouTube alcune ore PRIMA del presunto utilizzo del gas letale. Qualcosa non quadra.)
NON CI CASCHIAMO UN’ALTRA VOLTA. Rifiutiamo la propaganda di guerra con la quale i media ci inondano.
Di falsi pretesti per lanciare una guerra ne abbiamo già visti troppi. Di recente, ad esempio, in Iraq (il falso fiale di gas letale mostrato da Colin Powell al Consiglio di Sicurezza) e in Libia (il video delle fossi comuni delle presunte vittime di Gheddafi, rivelatosi poi una bufala, e le accuse dell’uso di aerei da combattimento libici contro i manifestanti, dimostrate false dai rilievi radar russi). Ma falsi pretesti di guerra ci sono stati anche in passato – ad esempio, nel 1964 nel Golfo del Tonchino (per giustificare l’intervento armato USA nel Vietnam) e nel 1995 nella Jugoslavia (per giustificare i bombardamenti NATO e italiani), e via discorrendo.
Ora, per avere un pretesto per bombardare la Siria e far vincere le milizie ribelle pro-NATO, i leader di alcuni paesi NATO denunciano, senza mostrare nessuna prova, un crimine di guerra (uso di gas letale) che sarebbe stato compiuto dal regime siriano. E lo denunciano ancor prima del termine del lavoro d’ispezione degli esperti ONU inviati sul posto. Non solo, ma nel denunciare il regime come autore del bombardamento con gas letale, contraddicono il principio del cui prodest. Infatti, solo le forze ribelle potrebbero avere interesse a compiere quel bombardamento, attribuendo poi la colpa al governo.
NON LASCIAMOCI TRASCINARE IN UN’ALTRA GUERRA SOTTO FALSI PRETESTI!
SCENDIAMO NELLE PIAZZE PER DIRE “NO” A QUALSIASI INTERVENTO ARMATO OCCIDENTALE IN SIRIA.
E SI’ ALLA CESSAZIONE DI FORNITURE DI ARMI. SI’ AL DIALOGO TRA LE PARTI. SI’ AI MOVIMENTI DI RICONCILIAZIONE POPOLARI (AD ESEMPIO, MUSSALAHA, MA ANCHE ALTRI). SI’ AD UN RUOLO DA PROTAGONISTA PER LA SOCIETÀ CIVILE NON VIOLENTA.

Alcuni fatti a sostegno di quanto affermato.
1.Nel maggio del 2013, Carla Del Ponte, membro della Commissione Onu che indaga sui crimini di guerra in Siria, dichiarò: “Abbiamo potuto raccogliere alcune testimonianze sull’utilizzo di armi chimiche, e in particolare di gas nervino, ma non da parte delle autorità governative, bensì da parte degli oppositori e dei resistenti”. “Per il momento noi abbiamo solo elementi sull’uso di armi chimiche da parte dagli oppositori.” In quel caso gli stessi paesi che oggi sono pronti ad attaccare la Siria non presero alcun provvedimento, lasciando cadere nel dimenticatoio una informazione di questa portata. Del resto il 30 maggio la polizia turca trovò un deposito di armi chimiche detenuto dal fonte Al Nusra.
2. Sugli autori. Il sito dell’opposizione nonviolenta SyriaTruth, il cui coordinatore è un oppositore ad Assad in esilio, Nizar Nayouf, sostiene che due missili provenienti dall’opposizione armata, dal quartiere di Duma, con componenti chimiche, sono caduti in quell’area per errore mentre volevano colpire l’esercito di Assad ad Al-Abbasiyyen Square. Syriatruth riferisce che l’ambasciatore russo ha dato all’Onu immagini da satellite sospette di missili che proverebbero che l’attacco è arrivato da zone controllate dall’opposizione.
3. Medici senza frontiere ha ricevuto telefonate da presidi medici clandestini nel governatorato di Damasco gestiti dall’opposizione (e nei quali il personale di Msf non è presente), che denunciano un afflusso di migliaia di pazienti con sintomi da avvelenamento da gas neurotossici, con oltre trecento morti. Ma di questo non esistono video né foto. Soprattutto Bart Janssens, direttore delle operazioni di Msf, dichiara: “MSF non può né confermare scientificamente la causa di questi sintomi, né stabilire chi è responsabile per l’attacco“. Quanto ai video che circolano da giorni, essi suscitano vari dubbi e fanno credere a manipolazioni perché…
4. …I video sono stati caricati su YouTube il 20 agosto attraverso il conto Majler Rif. Eppure l’opposizione parla dell’attacco avvenuto il 21 agosto alle 3 del mattino. Anche considerando il fuso orario, comunque sono stati caricati varie ore prima dei presunti attacchi. Secondo esperti citati dai media, alcune scene appaiono artefatte né appaiono evidenti i tipici sintomi del gas sarin. Inoltre diversi Stati stanno strumentalizzando le dichiarazioni di Msf.
5. Aggiungiamo che l’interferenza esterna è la vera causa della tragedia siriana. «Se gli stranieri che combattono in Siria se ne andassero, in 48 ore tornerebbe la pace » ha detto monsignor Nazzaro già vescovo ad Aleppo. Il Times ha scritto che i combattenti stranieri sono almeno diecimila. Da mesi circolano notizie di campi di addestramento congiunti statunitensi e giordani, dove le forze militari dei due paesi stanno preparando squadre di ribelli anti–Assad. Scrive Le Figaro: “Secondo le nostre fonti, i ribelli supervisionati da commando giordani, statunitensi e israeliani si stanno muovendo da alcuni giorni verso Damasco. E secondo il giornale israeliano Debka File “Sarebbero 550 i miliziani in marcia”.

Syrie. Sans savoir ce qui s’est passé, et qui l’a fait, en appliquant le principe de culpabilité sans preuve, et en dépit du cui prodest, les USA et les autres puissances revendiquent la nécessité d’une attaque directe contre la Syrie en parlant d’ obscénité morale du régime syrien ». L’obscénité morale c’est cette guerre. Nous demandons à tous dans le monde entier de s’y opposer dans les rues.
2. En mai 2013, Carla del Ponte, membre de la commission ONU qui enquête sur les crimes de guerre en Syrie, a déclaré : « nous avons pu recueillir certains témoignages sur l’utilisation des armes chimiques, et en particulier de gaz nervin, pas de la part des autorités gouvernementales, mais de la part des opposants et des résistants ». « Pour le moment nous avons des éléments sur l’utilisation des armes chimiques seulement de la part des opposants ». Dans ce cas les mêmes pays qui aujourd’hui sont prêts à attaquer la Syrie n’ont pris aucune mesure, laissant tomber dans les oubliettes une information de cette portée. Du reste le 30 mai la police turque a trouvé un dépôt d’armes chimiques détenues par le front Al Nosra.
3. Sur les auteurs. Le site de l’opposition non-violente Syriatruth dont le coordinateur est un opposant à Assad en exil, Nizar Nayouf, soutient que des missiles provenant de l’opposition armée, du quartier de Douma, avec des composants chimiques, sont tombés dans cette zone par erreur alors qu’ils voulaient frapper l’armée d’Assad à Al-Abbasiyyen Square. Syriatruth rapporte que l’ambassadeur russe a donné à l’ONU des images satellite suspectes de missiles, qui prouveraient que l’attaque provenait de zones contrôlées par l’opposition.
4. Médecin sans frontières a reçu des appels téléphoniques d’unités médicales clandestines dans le gouvernorat de Damas, tenues par l’opposition (et dans lesquelles le personnel de MSF n’est pas présent) qui dénoncent un afflux de milliers de patients avec des symptômes d’empoisonnement par gaz neurotoxique, avec plus de 300 morts. Mais il n’existe aucune vidéo ni photo de tout cela.
Surtout Bart Janssens, directeur des opérations de MSF déclare : « MSF ne peut ni confirmer scientifiquement la cause de ces symptômes, ni établir qui est responsable de l’attaque ». Quant aux vidéos qui circulent depuis des jours, elles suscitent des doutes variés et font croire à des manipulations parce que…
5. …Les vidéos ont été téléchargées sur YouTube le 20 août à travers le compte Majler Rif. Et pourtant l’opposition parle de l’attaque survenue le 21 août à 3:00 du matin. Même en considérant les fuseaux horaires, de toute façon elles ont été téléchargées plusieurs heures avant les attaques présumées. Selon des experts cités par les médias, certaines scènes semblent manipulées et les symptômes typiques du gaz sarin ne paraissent pas évidents. En outre plusieurs Etats instrumentalisent les déclarations de MSF.
6. Nous ajoutons que l’ingérence étrangère est la vraie cause de la tragédie syrienne. « Si les étrangers qui combattent en Syrie s’en allaient, en 48 heures la paix reviendrait » a dit Mgr Nazzaro, évêque émérite d’Alep. Le Times a écrit que les combattants étrangers sont au moins 10 000. Depuis plusieurs mois circulent des nouvelles de camps d’entraînement conjoints américains et jordaniens, où les forces militaires des deux pays préparent les escadrons de rebelles anti-Assad. Le Figaro écrit : « selon nos sources, les rebelles supervisés par des commandos jordaniens, américains et israéliens sont en train de se diriger depuis quelques jours vers Damas ». Et selon le journal israélien Debkfiles: « il y aurait 550 miliciens en marche ».
SYRIA: APPEAL AGAINST YET ANOTHER “HUMANITARIAN” WAR OF CONQUEST, LAUNCHED ON FALSE PRETENSES.
Syria. Without knowing exactly what happened or who did what, and assigning guilt without proof and without taking into consideration the principle of cui bono, the NATO trio United States-Britain-France has claimed the right to attack Syria to punish the regime for its “moral obscenity”. In reality, the only moral obscenity is the war the trio wants to conduct.
This is why people all over the world should take to the streets in protest. It is intolerable that the trio thinks it can simply make accusations without offering proof of exactly who the authors were of the lethal gas attack in Damascus on August 21st, given that the international expertshave yet to define what occurred.
Even General Camporini, former Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and current vice president of the Institute of International Affairs, has concluded that the Syrian government could have had absolutely no interest in launching a gas attack now that it is winning the fight against the rebels using conventional weapons and, moreover, now that it has just permitted U.N. inspectors to enter the country. Given the readiness of certain world powers to jump into the fray at the first opportunity, it would be suicidal to give them that opportunity.
So if the government had no interest in launching the gas attack, who did? The answer is obvious. The rebel forces have an interest in creating an incident involving the use of lethal gas. This is because they are loosing their fight against the government forces. They have repeatedly asked, over the months, for military support by Western armed forces – but without success, since Russia and China have vetoed any foreign armed intervention in Syria. Thus it is entirely conceivable that the rebel forces, now desperate, could have used the lethal gas themselves against a Damascus suburb, in order to pin the blame on the government, declare that the “red line” has been crossed, and thus give the NATO trio an excuse to enter the fray, even without UN approval.
It is equally conceivable that the same rebel forces could have sought to alarm public opinion even more by staging and filming fake scenes of widespread gas poisoning and posting them on the Internet. This would allow the rebels to claim that not just a few hundred civilians in one suburb, but over 1,700 Syrian civilians, in and around Damascus, were gassed to death by the regime. And that is apparently what they did. With a slip up, however. They posted the videos to YouTube several hours before the mass gas attack was supposed to have taken place.
LET’S NOT FALL FOR IT ANOTHER TIME. Let us reject the war propaganda that mainstream media inundates us with. We have already been victims of quite enough pretexts used to start a war. Two recent examples are the test tube of supposedly poisonous gas that Colin Powell waved before the Security Council to win permission to attack Iraq, and the sensationalistic (but false) news stories of Gaddafi’s ruthlessness against unarmed civilian demonstrators to justify NATO bombing attacks “in defense of the civilians”: for example, the contrived video of so-called mass graves in Libya (they were ordinary graves existing before the revolt) and the supposed use of fighter jets to strafe demonstrators in the street (subsequent analysis of Russian satellite data showed that no planes had flown over Tripoli that day). Two older but similar examples of pretexts to start wars are the self-inflicted attack in the Gulf of Tonkin in 1964 (carried out by the U.S. to justify invading Vietnam) and the “bread line” incident in 1995 to justify the bombing of Jugolslavia by NATO (and Italian) aviation.
Now the leaders of a few NATO countries, looking for the pretext to bomb Syria and help the pro-NATO rebels defeat the government forces and take power, have denounced the use of lethal gas by the Syrian government – without furnishing any proof and before the on-site U.N. Inspectors have carried out their inspection. What is more, these NATO countries have totally disregarded the cui bono principle – and for a reason: the only party who might have an interest in creating an incident over the use of lethal gas are the rebel forces, who have promptly tried to put the blame on the government.
LET’S NOT GET DRAGGED INTO YET ANOTHER WAR LAUNCHED ON FALSE PRETENSES.
LET’S TAKE TO THE STREETS TO SAY “NO!” TO ANY WESTERN ARMED INTERVENTION IN SYRIA.
LET’S SAY “YES!” TO STOPPING ARMS DELIVERIES. “YES!” TO DIALOG AMONG THE PARTIES. “YES!” TO RECONCILIATION MOVEMENTS LIKE MUSSALAHA (AND OTHERS). “YES!” TO HELPING THE NON-VIOLENT SECTORS OF CIVIL SOCIETY EMERGE AND MAKE THEIR VOICES HEARD.
YOU DON’T COMBAT VIOLENCE WITH VIOLENCE. THE ONLY WAY OUT IS THROUGH PEACE.
WHAT CAN ITALY DO, THEN, TO PROMOTE PEACE IN SYRIA?
1. ITALY CAN FORBID THE USE OF ITALIAN AIR SPACE BY U.S. OR NATO MISSIONS IN SYRIA. This may be only a symbolic gesture, since the announced missile attack is to come by sea; but it sends, nonetheless, an important signal. Just like the decision by the government, announced on August 27th, to prohibit using NATO air-naval stations in Italy for operations in Syria, without U.N. Approval.
2. ITALY CAN THUS REFUSE TO CONTINUE TO BE AN ALLIED AIRCRAFT CARRIER, USED FOR ATTACKS AGAINST NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES, AND INSIST ON BEING A BRIDGE OVER THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA, ONE THAT PEACEFULLY UNITES COUNTRIES;
3. ITALY CAN INVITE THE SYRIAN MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT (BOTH THOSE FOR AND THOSE AGAINST ASSAD) WHO WERE REFUSED ENTRY INTO ITALY UNDER THE MONTI GOVERNMENT, TO COME AND DISCUSS A POLITICAL SOLUTION TO THE CURRENT CRISIS;
4. ITALY CAN THUS RECUPERATE THE GLORIOUS TRADITION OF INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMACY THAT IT EXERCISED WITH SUCCESS THROUGHOUT THE RENAISSANCE.

A few facts to back up what has been asserted…
1. In May of 2013, Carla Del Ponte, member of the U.N. Enquiry into Syrian war crimes, declared: We have been able to gather a few testimonials of the use of chemical weapons and, in particular, of nerve gas. But they have not been used by the government forces. They have been used by the rebel forces, i.e., by the opposition. When Del Ponte made this statement, the countries who now are rushing into Syria to protect the population, did absolutely nothing. They let the news item grow stale and forgotten. Another fact: on May 30th the Turkish police found an arms cache created by the rebel al-Nusra Front. Same reaction, i.e. no reaction.
2. On August 21st Médecins sans frontières received phone calls from clandestine, improvised medical clinics in the Damascus area, run by the opposition (and in which MSF personnel is not present). These phone calls denounced the arrival of thousands of patients with symptoms of gas poisoning, of which three hundred died. The opposition furnished no proof. Bart Janssens, Operations Chief for MSF, declared: “MSF cannot confirm scientifically the cause of the alleged symptoms nor establish responsibilities for the alleged attack.” Afterward the opposition called attention to videos on YouTube as proof but…
3. …the videos were uploaded to YouTube on August 20 through the account of a certain Majler Rif. Yet the opposition has stated that the gas attack took place on August 21 at 3 am. Even taking into consideration the differences in time zones, the videos were uploaded well BEFORE the attack. In addition, experts have stated that several scenes seem clearly staged; moreover, the symptoms that the apparent victims were shown to suffer did not closely resemble the symptoms of a sarin gas attack, the gas claimed to have been used. Finally and perhaps most tellingly, the media of the NATO powers who are beating the war drums, have patently misrepresented the statement issued by Médecins sans Frontières to make it seem as though MSF has accredited their claims. Clearly, there is a campaign being mounted for armed intervention, not to “protect civilians” but to give a hand to the rebel forces who are loosing on the ground to government troops.
4. To conclude, it seems clear the the real cause of the Syrian tragedy is the outside military intervention that has already taken place (militias have been sent into Syria from Libya, Saudi Arabia, etc.) which have increased the bloodshed dramatically. These militias, supposedly sent to protect innocent demonstrators in the streets, in reality have been sent to grab power for the sponsoring foreign states. “If only the foreign militias fighting in Syria would leave, peace would return within 48 hours”, said Monsignor Nazzaro, former Bishop of Aleppo. The Times has reported the presence of over ten thousand foreign troops in Syria. For months rumors have circulated concerning training camps run by the United States in Jordan, where the armed forces of these two countries have been preparing anti-Assad rebel militias. The French newspaper Le Figaro has written: “According to our sources, rebel forces, supervised by Jordanian, American and Israeli commanders, have been sent to Damascus. Their number is approximately 550, reports the Israeli source Debka File. Can that be so? Are more foreign troops really what Syria needs?

No se puede permitir a los EEUU, Gran Bretaña y Francia que ataquen Siria y dejar que desaten la enesima guerra,sin tener evidencias que localizen de manera cierta a los verdaderos autores y responsables de la propagación de gas, cuyas propiedades todavía no quedan claras, así como señalan varios expertos internacionales, quienes fueron entrevistados por diferentes medios. También el general Camporini, presidente del Instituto para los Asuntos Internacionales, considera que al gobierno sirio no le conviene para nada haber usado gas químicos provocando un previsible rechazo internacional, cuando ya logró una posición de ventaja militar y mientras llegan los ispectores de la ONU. Por eso los expertos hablan de casus belli.
2. En mayo 2013, Carla Del Ponte, miembro de la Comisión ONU que investiga sobre los crímenes de guerra en Siria, declaró: “Reunimos unos testimonios sobre el uso de armas químicas, y precisamente de gas serín, por los opositores y sus combatientes y no por las autoridades gubernamentales”. “Por el momento solo tenemos elementos que indican el uso de gas químico por los opositores”. Sin embargo, los mismos países que hoy quieren atacar Siria, en aquella circunstancia no tomar ninguna medida, olvidándose de una información tan importante. Además, el 30 de mayo 2013 la policía turca halló un almacén de armas químicas manejada por el frente Al Nusra.
3. Sobre los autores. El sitio on line de la oposición no violenta, Syriatruth, cuyo organizador es un opositor a Assad en el exilio, Nizar Nayouf, afirma que dos misíles procedentes por la oposición armada, desde el barrio de Duma, con componentes químicos, cayeron en aquella área por error, al intentar de agredir el ejército de Assad, en Al- Abbasiyyen Square. Syriatruth refiere que el embajador ruso entregó a la ONU imágenes satelitales de misiles que comprobarían que el ataque llegó desde áreas controladas por la oposición.
4. La organización Médicos Sin Fronteras (MSF) recibió llamadas telefónicas desde presidios médicos clandestinos en la gobernación de Damasco, manejados por la oposición y en los que los equipos de MSF no están presentes, pidiendo atropina para miles de pacientes y con más de 300 muertos, quienes presentaban síntomas de gas neurotóxicos, sin embargo de todo eso no existe ni tan siquiera una foto o video. Además, Bart Janssens, jefe de las operaciones de MSF declara: “MSF no puede ni confirmar científicamente la causa de esas síntomas, ni establecer quien fue el responsable de ese ataque”.
5. También los videos que desde hace días circulan en la red resultan discutibles y dejan pensar en manipulaciones porque……Los videos fueron subidos a Youtube el 20 de agosto, un día antes de que aquellos tuvieran supuestamente lugar, a través de la cuenta “Majler Rif”. Sin embrago la oposición habla de un ataque que se realizó el 21 de agosto a las 3 de la madrugada. Incluso teniendo en cuenta las siete horas de diferencia entre Siria y EEUU, donde está localizado el servidor de Youtube, la colocación de tales videos se realizó varias horas antes de que los supuestos ataques tuvieran lugar. Según expertos mencionados por los medios, alguna grabación resulta artificiosa y tampoco se muestran las síntomas típicas del gas sarín.
6. Agregamos que la injerencia externa es la verdadera causa de la tragedia siria. “Si los extranjeros, quienes combaten en Siria, salieran del país, en 48 horas se recobraría la paz” lo dijo monsiñor Nazzaro, ya obispo en Aleppo. El Times escribió que los combatientes extranjeros por lo menos son diez mil. Desde hace unos meses circulan noticias sobre campos de adiestramientos de EEUU y Jordania, donde las fuerzas militares de los dos países están entrenando brigadas de rebeldes anti-Assad. Escribe Le Figaro: “Según nuestras fuentes, hace unos días, los rebeldes monitoreados por commandos jordanos, estadounidenses e israelíes se están dirigiendo hacia Damasco. Y según el periódico israelí Debka File “serían 550 los milicianos en marcha”.
